Welcome to The Sped Zone Hi! I’m Cindy! Welcome friends, teachers, parents, All! I’m so glad we have found each other. My name is Cindy and I am currently a full-time special education teacher, all abilities advocate and author of The Sped Zone. When I’m not in the classroom you can find me in some body of water, shredding the slopes with my husband Michael or canoodling our two fur babies Mr. Bean and Bella. I love crafting and scoring the latest fashion buys.
I’ve been a special education teacher for 10 years and I am passionate about making our education system accessible for all kinds of learners. If you’re a Sped Teacher, you know how frustrating it can be to find appropriate resources for your students. I’m here to help! I love to create products that make learning ACCESSIBLE for students with different learning needs and love to create INCLUSIVE learning spaces for schools.
I also have a huge passion for fashion and love to create. What better way to create and inspire than to build a brand of apparel that brings my two loves together, Teacherwear!!!! I created The Sped Zone to share my teaching experience with you as well as celebrate all the amazing teachers out there! You are all making such a difference in our world!
